Hello, all you lovely people… And Happy Holidays! The KOB has had an amazing autumn. We’ve played in some of our favorite towns; we’ve seen some wonderful old friends, and made some new ones as well. And, after a slew of dates on the road, it’ll be nice to finish out the year close to home.

We’ll be shooting down to the OBX brewing station on Sat, 12/8 (one more for our beaches). We’ll also be returning to The Hot Spot in Waynesboro, Va, on Friday 12/14. In addition to prepping for these shows, the KOB has been working tirelessly, assembling a very special 3-set performance for New Year’s Eve! Come join us at Rapture (R2) and help us ring in the New Year in the hypest of styleees.
We’ve got some more tricks up our sleeves. And this won’t be a night to miss (though whether-or-not you remember it will be up to you). So put on your party-hats, and come rage with us!

We are thrilled to finally have our new website up and running! Many thanks to good friend Dave VanNoy for all his hard work with this endeavor. Please bear with us over the next couple weeks as we iron out the kinks and upload fresh content for you! In other news, the KOB kicks off a two week regional tour this Saturday with two big shows in the Charlottesville area! The first is an afternoon slot at the Mountain Cove Music Festival in beautiful Lovingston,VA, followed closely by the Mountain Cove Fest After-Party @ Rapture later that evening. We then hit the road on Tuesday for a string of exciting dates throughout North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland! Check the Shows section of the site for details. We’re greatly looking forward to seeing many of you soon!

Wow!  Floydfest was amazing as always, but this year was exceptionally enlightening. Many thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success. KOB are finishing this summer strong- with shows all over the East Coast… Charlottesvillians can look forward to another FREE show at Rapture on August 10th, and Festifarians can catch us at Camp Barefoot on August 26th (11pm set).  The KOB’s Fall calender is filling up quickly, so check the shows page often to see if KOB are coming to a town near you! Get Hype, folks.

The Kings of Belmont are proud to be playing 2 nights at Floydfest this weekend! We’ll be raging the Global Village on Thursday night from 1:30 to 3am, and melting faces on the ‘Pink Floyd-beer garden’ stage on Friday at 11pm. To say we’ve got some tricks up our sleeves would be a vast understatement, so put some bells on, and boogie on down to Floyd!
